Homeschool Platform LLC (“Homeschool Platform,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides digital services, platform access, managed hosting, custom builds, consulting, and related business services. Because many of our services involve reserved time, custom labor, implementation work, licensing, and recurring infrastructure costs, the following Refund & Cancellation Policy applies unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement.
By purchasing or using our Services, you agree to this policy.
1. Setup Fees and Initial Project Payments
Setup fees, onboarding fees, deposits, implementation fees, and initial project payments are generally non-refundable once work has been scheduled, initiated, or performed.
This includes time spent on planning, discovery, configuration, design preparation, account setup, consultation, research, or technical implementation.
2. Custom Builds and Project Work
Payments for custom builds, redesigns, migrations, integrations, content implementation, consulting, rush work, or other project-based services are non-refundable once work has begun.
If a project is paused, delayed, or canceled by the client after work has started, Homeschool Platform may retain payments for work completed, time reserved, progress made, and costs incurred.
Additional balances for completed work may remain due.
3. Recurring Platform Access and Managed Services
Monthly or annual charges for platform access, managed hosting, subscriptions, licensing, maintenance, monitoring, or recurring services are non-refundable once billed.
Clients are responsible for canceling recurring services prior to the next renewal date if they do not wish to continue service.
No prorated refunds are guaranteed for partial billing periods, partial months, unused time, or early cancellation.
4. Cancellation Requests
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
Cancellation becomes effective upon confirmation by Homeschool Platform or at the end of the then-current billing cycle, unless otherwise stated.
Cancellation of recurring services does not eliminate responsibility for:
- unpaid balances;
- previously incurred charges;
- completed project work;
- third-party charges already incurred; or
- fees due under a separate agreement.
5. Nonpayment and Account Suspension
If payment fails, becomes overdue, or is disputed, services may be paused, restricted, or suspended in accordance with our Terms of Use.
Continued nonpayment may result in cancellation, data removal, or termination of access.
6. Third-Party Fees
Fees charged by third-party providers, including payment processors, domain registrars, software vendors, or connected services, may be non-refundable and are outside our control.
Homeschool Platform is not obligated to reimburse third-party transaction fees, chargeback fees, processor fees, or vendor charges.
7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated for a valid charge, we reserve the right to suspend services, restrict access, recover costs, provide supporting documentation, and pursue unpaid balances.
Clients are encouraged to contact us first so we can attempt to resolve billing concerns professionally.
8. Exceptional Circumstances
Any courtesy credit, refund exception, or account adjustment is granted solely at our discretion and does not waive future enforcement of this policy.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Updated versions become effective when posted unless otherwise stated.
